Abby Restaurant, it s a highly personal, slightly homey eatery serving authentic Mexican food at 2955 Walnut Hill Ln., just east of Harry Hines Boulevard, in what was most recently a Williams Chicken but was originally a Whataburger. Owner Abby Fraire has been doing Mexican food in one form or another in this section of northwest Dallas for more than 25 years, starting out with a street corn stand in front of the Fiesta on Webb Chapel Road before opening the original Abby inside the Harry Hines Bazaar nearly 16 years ago.
Several events held across Dallas to get people the COVID-19 vaccine

DALLAS - The Dallas Police Department and Dallas County Health and Human Services were out in Far Northeast Dallas Saturday morning to help people sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Those who got registered at the event at the Hong Kong Market could head to Fair Park and get their first shot just hours later.
The mega-site was administering Pfizer doses.
A spokesperson with DCHHS said they do this type of outreach six or seven times a week.
She said it’s just one way the whole community can get closer to achieving herd immunity.

The annual classic will now be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13 at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
“Unfortunately, due to the impacts of the recent inclement weather and the time required to assess what is needed to get Cotton Bowl Stadium ready, we collectively agreed with the State Fair of Texas and the promoter that the prudent decision is to move the event,” says Peter Sullivan, general manager of Fair Park. “We look forward to hosting this great event again in the future.”
All previously purchased tickets will be honored. Tickets are also still available for purchase for the 2021 State Fair Classic Spring Game.
