A man has been sentenced to six years in prison for an arson attack in Rochdale last year.
Paul Lamb, 28, of no fixed abode, was charged with arson with intent to endanger life after appearing at Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday (17 May).
Two adults and three young children were present in the address when the attack on William Henry Street, near Oldham Road, took place during the early hours of 20 November 2020.
No-one was injured, but fire damage was caused to the front door of the premises.
Lamb pleaded guilty to the charge and was jailed for six years.

A man has been jailed after setting fire to the front and back exit of a house where a baby and young children were sleeping upstairs.
Paul Lamb, 28, was seen hours before buying a water bottle from a Texaco garage before filling it up with petrol. He then set fire to the front door through the letterbox and lit a fire in a wheelie bin at the backdoor, Minshull Street Crown Court heard.
