TCMH chief nursing officer to retire after 33 years

Texas County Memorial Hospital’s chief nursing officer, Dorcas “Doretta” Todd-Willis is officially saying goodbye to her TCMH family at the end of the year, after spending more than three decades of her nursing career serving patients and the community through her leadership at TCMH. Todd-Willis grew up with parents who she says were excellent examples of what a role model should be. Both her father and mother spent their entire lives serving and giving to others, not just because her father was a preacher and her mother a teacher, it was just because that was who they were, she says.

Kiara Bradley is a two-time honoree for the NCAA Division II All-Stats team in the start to the 2020-21 season. She made her all-stats debut earlier in the month, and was honored again today. The senior is averaging 23 points and 10.2 rebounds for the Cardinals. Most recently, Bradley went for a season-high 30 points and 12 boards in a win over Missouri S&T, tying Tusculum’s Maddie Sutton for the DII lead with her fourth double-double.

Missouri State (1-0) shot 67 percent in the second half and 52.5 percent for the game while dishing out 19 assists. Prim finished 9-of-11 from the field for a game high, with eight assists and six rebounds. Ja’Monta Black added a career-high 16 points and eight rebounds for Missouri State, while Isiaih Mosley added 13 points, and Jared Ridder posted 10 in his first start since 2018-19.
