Blake Oaks senior Luke Northweather has achieved plenty of accolades during his high school basketball career. On Wednesday, he received his biggest honor yet. Northweather was chosen as the Gatorade Missouri boys basketball player of the year, becoming the first Blair Oaks player to receive that honor. He is the second Blair Oaks athlete to receive a Gatorade player of the year honor, as Makenna Kliethermes earned the statewide award in softball for the 2018-19 school year.
