Police investigate possible shooting Monday in Wilmington s Hill Top neighborhood

A 46-year-old man was fatally shot Monday afternoon in Wilmington s Hilltop neighborhood, city police said.
The victim was identified by police as Michael Parker. The incident occurred about 3:25 p.m. in the 200 block of N. Du Pont St., Wilmington Police said in a statement. This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible, police said.
Arriving officers found Parker, who d been shot several times. He was taken to an area hospital where he died.
