The 24-year-old singer from Apple Valley, California, was crowned the winner of this year s series on Sunday night (23.05.21) during the three-hour grand finale, which also featured guest performances from the likes of Chaka Khan, Fleetwood Mac s Lindsey Buckingham and Sheryl Crow 26 May 2021
Chayce sealed victory by overcoming stiff competition from Willie Spence, the 21-year-old runner-up from Douglas, Georgia, and Grace Kinstler, a 21-year-old college student from Lakewood, Illinois, who finished in third place.
Chayce - who was widely seen as the pre-show favourite - and the other contestants were all tasked with singing four songs for the finale: one picked for them by the judges; a song from the live rounds; a hometown dedication; and a duet with a celebrity musician.

HUNDREDS will march at a George Floyd memorial in Minneapolis today as his family meets with President Joe Biden in the White House on the first anniversary of his death.
Floyd, 46, died last Memorial Day, May 25, after ex-cop Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for almost nine and a half minutes.

SENATOR Rand Paul was subjected to an anonymous threat in May 2021 that made reference to an assault in 2017.
It came after the politician was attacked by his neighbor Rene Boucher at his home in Bowling Green and suffered serious injuries.

Rand Paul’s former neighbour is Rene Boucher.
Believed to be around 62 years in age, Mr Boucher is serving a sentence for a crime that he committed in 2017.
He was an anesthesiologist and used to own a property next to Senator Rand Paul in Bowling Green.
However, he sold the property in June 2019, for an estimated $482,000, with proceeds going towards the court.

HEALTH bosses are dashing to get more Covid jabs in the nation’s arms as it emerged the Indian variant is now the UK’s most dominant strain.
They have responded by speeding up the offer of second doses to the over-50s to get as many fully immunised against the contagious mutation as fast as possible.

It came as experts said they were confident that Boris Johnson’s June 21 Freedom Day was “looking good” after research revealed two jabs were highly effective against the variant.
