Mr. Filip has always been a huge inspiration to the kids at school. He plans elaborate field days, has yearly and monthly themes, and is very encouraging and positive. Since the pandemic, he has gone so far above and beyond! In the spring, every morning for a month he rode his bike around the school neighborhoods so he could visit every student in the school. He also got a bunch of donations and was able to have contests and give prizes during his rides. He continues to have a theme of the month, and keeps things upbeat and positive. My children are currently being homeschooled, and he takes time out of his own busy schedule to send them a weekly PE challenge video. Mr. Filip has endless amounts of energy, a huge heart, and a true love of teaching!
