KANSAS CITY MO. â The Kansas City Pet Project rescued a cat from a trash compactor on Sunday.
An animal services officer responded to the Kansas City, Missouri, USDA office building on a report of a cat âstuck and possibly injured in their commercial trash compactor,â according to a KCPP Facebook post.
âAfter a search through all the trash in the compactor, she spotted the kitten inside but wasnât able to catch it,â the post said. âThankfully, our compassionate officer was able to successfully rescue the kitten by humanely trapping it and was happy to find the kitten had not been injured.â
