WRC Gets Official Crowd Numbers For May Racing Carnival
The Warrnambool Racing Club (WRC) has advised that the 2021 TAB Warrnambool May Racing Carnival, scheduled for 4 to 6 May, is all systems go.
The Victoria Government has notified the club that they were approved for crowd allowances of 12,000 patrons for each day of the TAB Warrnambool May Racing Carnival.
“The Club is thrilled with the result and we thank everyone for their patience, the crowd allowance is a great boost for the City of Warrnambool and the Club is looking forward to implementing a Covid Safe TAB Warrnambool May Racing Carnival” said Warrnambool Racing Club CEO, Tom O’Connor.

One of Australia s Biggest EDM Acts Headlining Coastal Jam Warrnambool 2021
Live music is well and truly back in Warrnambool with the announcement of Australian party starter What So Not headlining this year s Coastal Jam Warrnambool.
Into it s third year, Warrnambool s Cally Hotel will play host to the electronic dance music artist this Easter Sunday alongside a stacked lineup of local artists.

Having launched in 2017 by Geelong based Uno Events, Coastal Jam is a boutique music and arts festival that pops up along the Victorian coast at Lorne, Warrnambool, Torquay, Barwon Heads and Geelong over the summer period.

Vaccination Program Begins At South West Healthcare
Most-at-risk frontline workers at the Warrnambool Base Hospital will roll up their sleeves by the end of the working week, as South West Healthcare commences its COVID vaccination program.
Emergency Department associate nurse unit manager Carole Holman was this morning the first to receive the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, another 329 of her colleagues are set to follow.
Tomorrow a further 48 of the most-at-risk frontline workers at SWH’s Camperdown Hospital and Merindah Lodge residential aged care facility will also be vaccinated, as will 22 residents at Merindah Lodge.

SWH CEO Craig Fraser says it’s fantastic to see the vaccinations commencing for the priority groups and it won’t be long until we commence our community vaccination program.
The 59.5ac farm at Garvogue is 4km from Prosperous and all in pasture.
The farm property year got off to a good start on Friday 26 February when a 59ac grassland farm in Co Kildare was sold at auction for €780,000, or €13,220/ac. The buyer was a beef farmer from Co Dublin and the underbidder was a Kildare tillage farmer.
The auction was held online because of lockdown restrictions.
Auctioneer Eamon O’ Flaherty of Sherry FitzGerald Brady O’Flaherty, who conducted the auction, said that there had been significant interest in the farm before the auction and that five individuals registered to bid.
