Bix 7 Organizers Lift Coronavirus Restrictions for 2021 Race
Bix 7 organizers have announced they re lifting all coronavirus restrictions for the July 24, 2021 race. That means there will be no caps on the race, you only need to wear a mask if you re not vaccinated and there will be no delayed starts.
So essentially the race will look and feel just like it did in 2019. The race will held Saturday, July 24, with an 8 a.m. start from 4th and Brady streets. Both the Bix 7 and the Quick Bix will start at 8 a.m.
According to the QC Times, race director Michelle Juehring announced COVID-19 safety protocols were lifted Friday morning after consulting with the race s local medical team. Race organizers are calling the race an opportunity for the Quad-Cities community to Come Back to the Start.
