A ROMSEY care home is set to grant a special wish for one of their residents next week. Woodley Grange Care Home, Winchester Hill, launched their Wish Makers campaign earlier this year in a bid to raise residents spirits amid the pandemic. This saw residents fill out one wish form each before dropping it into a wishing well. Every month a wish will be picked from a well and the care team will work closely with the community to make the dream a reality. One woman, Pat, wished she could go Christmas shopping for her family. Now, with the help of family members and businesses the care home will make Pat s dream come true by creating a winter emporium that will run from Tuesday [December 15] to Wednesday [December 16], featuring donated gifts and even a till to create a real shopping experience, while keeping everyone safe from coronavirus.
