If there is anyone who is an expert at the drive-thru experience, it is a fast-food restaurant manager.
CNN reports that when a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine clinic in South Carolina got backed up, the mayor called in an expert - the manager of the local Chick-fil-A restaurant.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - No business can master a drive-thru like Chick-fil-A, and a restaurant manager is getting high praise for using the company’s method to help workers at a COVID-19 vaccination site after a computer glitch caused a traffic gridlock.
Mayor Will Haynie said he was notified on Jan. 22 that traffic was backed up for an hour at the COVID-19 vaccination site at Seacoast Church. He called Chick-fil-A Manager Jerry Walkowiak for help, knowing the company had a great reputation for mastering the art of drive-thru.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - What do you do when your COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru line is backed up? You seek out the professionals.
That’s what Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie did calling up the expertise of Chick-fil-A manager Jerry Walkowiak.
In a tweet posted on Jan. 22, Haynie posted a video of Walkowiak in action at one of the town’s vaccination drive-thru centers showcasing the manager in action, saying, ”When you need help, call the pros.”
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - One Chick-fil-A manager in South Carolina took his customer service over to a different drive-thru.
Jerry Walkowaik helped direct drivers in line at a COVID-19 vaccination site Friday.
In addition to their famous chicken sandwiches and waffle fries, the fast-food chain is known nationwide for its customer service and efficient drive-thrus.
Cars lined up at drive-thru vaccination sites were not a challenge for Walkowiak.
The mayor of St. Pleasant posted a video of the act of kindness to Twitter, calling the Chick-fil-A manager a drive-thru professional.

Chick-fil-A says that it can handle over 100 cars during peak hours of service. Chick-fil-A even has a mockup restaurant in Georgia it can use to test new ideas in line management.
