Police are asking the public for help identifying someone who may know something about the murder of a 21-year-old last summer.
On August 26, 21-year-old Toronto native Mohammed Yonis Ali was shot killed near his 800 block of Alfred Avenue home. On Wednesday, months later, the Winnipeg Police Service said a woman may have more information on what happened that evening. The Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit continues to investigate this homicide and has acquired surveillance images of a female who may possess additional information regarding this investigation, they say in a statement.
