The WPS Monday morning announced Amninder Grewal, who was missing since mid-April, was found dead.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black toque, and a black hoody with BENCH across the chest in white lettering.
WINNIPEG Winnipeg police are asking residents of the Point Douglas neighbourhood to search their properties for a missing man last seen in the area. Winnipeg police said members of the Winnipeg Search and Rescue Volunteer Association were out on Saturday searching back lanes, green spaces, wooded areas and the riverbank for 31-year-old Amninder Grewal. Grewal s family previously told CTV News he went to pay his phone bill at Kildonan Place on April 15, and then took a cab from the mall to the North End. He hasn t been seen since. On Tuesday, police said Grewal s last confirmed sighting was in the Point Douglas neighbourhood, and they are now asking residents to help with the search.

WINNIPEG A 24-year-old Winnipeg man who has been missing for almost three weeks has been found dead. Winnipeg police posted on Twitter Thursday morning that Sami Uzzaman was found deceased following a search in the Fort Garry neighbourhood. Foul play is not suspected in Uzzaman’s death. Uzzaman was last contacted on Jan. 9, and was reported missing to Winnipeg police on Jan. 20. The police service’s ground search and rescue team, along with the Bear Clan and volunteers with Winnipeg Search and Rescue were involved in the search. Police said Uzzaman’s family has been notified and is requesting privacy.
