On July 13, The Windham Little League All-Star Softball Team beat Ellsworth to become the Maine State Champions. The next stop for these 10, 11, and 12 year-old ladies is Bristol, Connecticut for the East Regional Tournament. In order to make the trip, a GoFundMe has been started to raise the cash needed to send the champs to the next round.

Money donated to the GoFundMe will pay for travel and hotel expenses and help to outfit the team. They re looking to raise $15,000 and as of this writing, they are just over the halfway point at $7750.
