In a recent statement, the Vietnamese Ministry of Health requires hospitals and health facilities at all levels to stop publicizing personal information and travel itineraries of COVID-19 infection cases.
Approved by Nguyen Dinh Anh, head of communications at the Ministry of Health, the official statement addresses the dissemination of coronavirus-related information sharing at hospital and healthcare facilities.
The ministry demanded that the identity, travel itinerary, and contact history of coronavirus-positive cases be kept private.

An additional 57 local coronavirus infections were reported by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday morning, most in the epicenter Bac Giang Province.
Bac Giang, where the virus is wreaking havoc among industrial parks, recorded 45 domestic cases, the health ministry said in a report.
Its neighbor, Bac Ninh, which is also a hub of industrial parks, logged two patients, Hanoi four, Lang Son Province four, and Ha Nam Province two.
All of the places are located in the northern part of the country.

The Ministry of Health confirmed an all-time high of 444 domestic coronavirus infections in Vietnam on Tuesday, the vast majority recorded in a northern province home to industrial parks.
This number broke the daily record set on May 16, when 187 domestic cases were reported, according to the health ministry’s data.
Bac Giang Province, situated in northern Vietnam, registered 375 of the latest cases, most found at or linked to industrial parks.
Twenty-eight infections were registered in Bac Ninh Province, which borders Bac Giang. Both provinces are industrial park hubs.

The number of local coronavirus infections in Vietnam’s epicenter Bac Giang Province has surpassed 1,000 in the ongoing fourth wave as the Ministry of Health confirmed 184 additional domestic cases nationwide on Monday.
Monday’s count is the second-biggest daily case increase to have been recorded in the past two weeks, with the sharpest jump –
187 patients – announced on May 16, according to the ministry’s data.
A whopping 105 of the latest cases were registered in Bac Giang Province, a hub of industrial parks in northern Vietnam, the ministry said in a report at 6:00 pm on Monday.

NDO – Chairman of the Hanoi People s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh has asked local authorities, agencies and the people to focus all their efforts to ensuring safety against COVID-19 during national election day on May 23.
At an online meeting of the Hanoi Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control held on May 21, Anh, who is also the head of the committee, noted that, with election day coming up, all levels, sectors and people need to thoroughly grasp the direction of the Prime Minister, to absolutely not be negligent or let down vigilance against the epidemic.
