Thursday, 27 May 2021 The technology group Wärtsilä will supply a biogas liquefaction plant to Norway-based Biokraft, a subsidiary of the Scandinavian Biogas Group and a major player in the global biogas market. The 25 tons per day capacity plant will extend an existing bioLNG production plant at Skogn in Norway, also supplied by Wärtsilä, to a combined total of 50 tons per day making it by far the largest facility of its kind in the world. The market for liquefied biogas continues to expand along with the increase in global efforts to restrict the use of fossil fuels. BioLNG is an abundant renewable energy source that is used as ‘green’ fuel in transportation, industrial, and marine applications.

Linde to Supply World s First Hydrogen-Powered Ferry
Guildford, UK, March 8, 2021 - Linde (NYSE: LIN; FWB: LIN) today announced it has been selected by Norwegian ferry operator Norled to supply liquid hydrogen and related infrastructure to the world s first operational hydrogen-powered ferry, which will transport both cars and passengers.
Linde will provide a full-service solution to the MF Hydra ferry in Norway. Liquid hydrogen will be supplied from Linde s new 24MW electrolyzer at the Leuna Chemical Complex in Germany, which will use PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) technology to produce green hydrogen.
