On the block of 38th and Reynolds Streets sits a home with a huge POD box outside and building materials on the porch. Inside, workers are taping covers down over the newly installed wooden floors on an exceptionally warm day in December.
Lionel Brown, born and raised on the Eastside of Savannah, walks through his childhood home as it goes through renovation. He recalls the room he and his brothers shared and how he is changing the reddish-colored paint on the walls to grey with white trim. He recently purchased the home from his mother, Valerie Ragland, in November.
