CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ An Ocean City Police Sergeant has been charged with sexual assault, authorities said.
Tyrone Rolls, 50, of Marmora, turned himself into the Cape May County Prosecutor s Office on Wednesday, the CMCPO said in a statement.
He has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, official misconduct and aggravated assault of a domestic violence victim.

An investigation by the CMCPO s Special Victims Unit found Rolls had a sexual relationship with a juvenile.

No identifying details were released about the minor. All were arrested Friday and charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, simple assault, video voyeurism and conspiracy.
Wilson, Scuncio and Sektor were arraigned by a justice of the peace and held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institute in Cranston, ahead of a re-arraignment in court on Monday. The minor was held at the Rhode Island Training School ahead of a virtual court appearance Monday.

If convicted, the penalty for first-degree sexual assault is a minimum of 10 years in prison, up to a life sentence. Second-degree sexual assault carries a sentence of three to 15 years in prison, while video voyeurism carries up to three years in prison and a fine of $5,000.
