Buckingham Palace has shared a touching 1976 photo of a young Queen and Prince Philip as he recovers from his heart surgery in hospital. The photo, which was shared to the Royal Family Twitter account to mark World Book Day on Thursday, shows Her Majesty sitting at a desk in the library at Balmoral Caste, while the Duke of Edinburgh gazes into the distance next to her.   It comes as Prince Philip, 99, prepares to spend third weekend away from the monarch while he recovers from heart surgery in hospital. Buckingham Palace revealed on Thursday that Philip had a successful procedure for a pre-existing heart condition and will remain in hospital for treatment, rest and recuperation for a number of days.
