LONDON, ONT Bird Canada announced that 500 Bird Two e-scooters are now available for use in the region, Saturday morning. The deployement of Bird e-scooters in Windsor Ont., is part of a one-year shared e-scooter pilot approed by the City of Windsor, to help residents access a low-cost way to get around, Bird Canada said in a release. Bird Canada along with the City of Windsor, will be placing the e-scooters throughout an area bounded by the Riverfront pathway, Prince, Tucumseh and Drouillard Road. A local team will manage the roll-out and educate users on e-scooter safety protocols. All e-scooters deployed for this pilot will feature Windsor-specific branding, and are available to rent.

LITTLE LOVE FOR MAYOR
I don’t agree with your assertion the mayor will take a hike in October. I believe he should be gone immediately. Just the other day, he suggested $1.5 billion from the feds ‘won’t be enough to tackle homelessness’. Those are his words, verbatim. Everyday downtown you can lay witness to someone who clearly could benefit from some support yet is struggling. I saw a middle aged man who must have been at least in his 50s looking disheveled with some bottles. Yet, the $27+ million funicular is defended by the mayor or others on council. It’s more clear by the day that Iveson and monetary decisions don’t mix. He simply cannot be trusted to open his mouth while attempting to tackle issues beyond his grasp. Well, he’s taught Edmonton his leadership is inadequate.
