Mumbai, March 9 : With an eye on generating employment and unshackling tourism in the Covid-19 pandemic ravages, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar has given a booster dose to tourism in the Budget 2021-2022.
Virtually luring people to let their hair down and hit the roads, Pawar s highlights are: Developing a new hill-station, an international class tourist complex, a new boat jetty, a cruise terminal, development of beaches, hill-resorts, museums, safaris, historical and pilgrimage centres.

Mumbai, March 6 : Terming the voluminous 12,000-page charge sheet filed against Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and 31 others as expected , their lawyer Satish Maneshinde launched a sharp attack on the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), virtually accusing it of a witch-hunt, here on Saturday. All efforts of the NCB have been directed towards Rhea Chakraborty, to somehow rope her in. The entire NCB, from top to bottom was engaged in unearthing the drug angle in Bollywood, Maneshinde said.

Shiv Sena out of Bengal polls, to back Mamata

Mumbai, March 4 : The Shiv Sena has decided to opt out of the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections, but the party has decided to ‘wholeheartedly’ support All India Trinamool Congress leader and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, a top official said here on Thursday.
Sena MP and Chief Spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that since the West Bengal polls are turning out to be “Didi vs All”, the Shiv Sena has decided not to contest the elections, but will stand in solidarity with her.
