The shooting victim, identified as Marquis Bowles, a man in his 20s, was pronounced on scene.

(WWBT) - Richmond police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in Whitcomb Court on Wednesday evening. Police were called shortly after 6 p.m. to the 2300 block of Ambrose Street. At the scene, officers found Jamoine Tyler, a man in his 30s, with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Anyone with information is asked to call Major Crimes Detective A. Sleem at (804) 814-7123 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
