James Grimes death: Family offers $25,000 reward for information

The Daily Herald As authorities continue to investigate the death of James Grimes at his Lynnville home, the family of the celebrated local entrepreneur is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for his death. In a video, over a dozen of Grimes family members of all ages gathered in the home living room huddled together, accompanied by Giles County Sheriff Kyle Helton and friend and spokesperson for the family, Will Tenpenny. “Mr. Grimes was killed in his own yard tending to the animals that he loved,” Helton said.  Standing alongside the mourning family members, Helton requested the public s assistance.

The new timing coincides with President Joe Biden’s deadline for states to make the vaccines more widely available across the U.S. Beginning Monday, anyone 16 and older qualifies to sign up and get in a virtual line to be vaccinated.
