The Centre is criticized for not taking enough measures. There is a huge shortage for vaccination too in the country. The scientists predicted that there may be a third wave of coronavirus in the country and the debates are going on if India can stand before the third wave of coronavirus. The Centre says that the third wave of coronavirus can be controlled in the country. A top adviser for the government says that the third wave of coronavirus can be prevented if strict measures are implemented.

Amid the country reeling under the second wave of the pandemic, the Centre has warned that unless stringent measures are adopted a third wave will be inevitable. However, offering a glimmer of hope, principal scientific adviser K Vijay Raghavan on Friday said insidious asymptomatic transmission can be stopped if covid-19 protocols are strictly implemented at the state, district and city-level, which may prevent the third wave of the pandemic. If we take strong measures, the third wave may not happen in all places or indeed anywhere at all. It depends on much how effectively guidance is implemented at the local level in the states, districts and cities everywhere.
