Published: 5:30 AM July 24, 2021    Updated: 6:39 AM July 24, 2021 A traditional Hindu wedding took place at the Namaste Village restaurant in Norwich on Freedom Day as restrictions eased - Credit: Al Pulford A traditional Hindu wedding has become a viral hit online after being able to take place in Norwich on Freedom Day .  Jatin Sutariya, a staff member at the Namaste Village Indian restaurant in Norwich, was married to Neelam Diyora on Monday, the first day since all restrictions were lifted.  Mr Sutariya had come to England to study at the University of East Anglia and was unable to host the wedding in India due to Covid.

Namaste Village hosting buffet to raise money for India

Published: 11:53 AM May 15, 2021    Vijay Jetani who runs Namaste Village Indian Restaurant in Norwich has started a new vegetarian and vegan pizzeria offering takeaways. The menu includes vegan tandoori pizza, vegan pepperoni pizza, vegan samosa burger, fries and chilli mogo cassava chips with vegan Mayo. Namaste Village in Norwich is hosting a fundraiser in the form of an unlimited buffet meal on May 18 as they look to raise money to help supply more oxygen to India as they battle Covid-19.
