Wrexham has joined a network of town and cities across the UK with the hope a joint voice will be stronger to help draw benefits for members.
The Key Cities Group was established in 2013 and consists of 21 urban areas across Wales and England, including Swansea, Newport, Salford and Preston.
Now Bath, Exeter, Lincoln and Wrexham will join the network – locally the decision has been made following the Executive Board approval of the £10,000 a year membership fee, which comes with a six months free introductory offer.
