A GoFundMe account has been created to help support the medical needs of three children injured in a traffic crash near Baker and to fund a memorial for a 9-year-old boy who was killed in the wreck.
The page titled “Help the Menzies kids recover” was launched two days after the head-on collision on State Road 4 near Keyser Mill Road on Monday evening. The children’s father and another family member are listed as the organizers.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol news release, a Subaru occupied by the four children and a 39-year-old woman, all from Evergreen, Alabama, was traveling east on SR 4 as a Kia SUV driven by a Baker woman was approaching from the opposite direction.

BAKER A 9-year-old boy was killed and five other people, including three young children, were critically or seriously injured in a head-on collision on State Road 4 on Monday evening, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The crash occurred about 6:25 p.m. near Keyser Mill Road southeast of Baker.
A red Subaru SUV occupied by a 39-year-old woman and four children, all from Evergreen, Alabama, was traveling east on SR 4 as a gray Kia SUV driven by a Baker woman of an unspecified age was approaching from the opposite direction, the FHP reported.
