Eleven stations of West Shore Advanced Life Support Services join Penn State Health Life Lion

The move was part of Penn State Health’s acquisition of Holy Spirit Hospital from Geisinger.
The 11 stations are located in the following municipalities in Cumberland, York, Franklin and Perry Counties:
Lemoyne
Penn Township, Perry County
Chambersburg
West Shore Advanced Life Support has been providing prehospital emergency and non-emergency services for around 35 years. The stations and their staffs, including emergency medical technicians, paramedics, prehospital nurses and prehospital doctors became part of State Health on Dec.1. The stations of West Shore Advanced Life Support joining Penn State Health will become part of Penn State Health Life Lion. Penn State Health Life Lion will manage the health system’s prehospital medicine program, in coordination with Life Lion Emergency Medical Services at Penn State Health�
