I spoke to 78 year-old Farnborough Village resident Maureen Furze to get her perspective on life waiting for the vaccine. After some initial technical difficulties, I manage to open by asking Maureen how the lockdowns have affected her life. Fortunately, her response is fairly bright and positive in tone: ‘It has meant not seeing family as much, and I do miss meeting up with people in my area. But I go out walking each day and I have my socially distanced chats, so I am not too badly off.
