Walpole Friends of Music seeking members Community Content The Walpole Friends of Music is seeking members for its volunteer organization supporting kindergarten to 12th grade students in the Walpole Public Schools. The organization raises donations from businesses and individuals to support the music program financially and to volunteer time to support music activities. It also collaborates with the new district music coordinator, Tim Fleming. Often accompanied by other music faculty members, he has joined all of the monthly meetings and provided updates about schools’ needs for support.  The WFM Steering Committee is a small, dedicated, fun group of volunteers meeting once a month to plan activities and funding for the schools’ music education. Most current Steering Committee members’ children have graduated, and the organization feel it’s important to have parents of current students to continue the mission.
