FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Broward County’s mayor said Friday that more vaccines are arriving in the area in the next two weeks, but there’s still a shortage.
“While the 16 percent increase that the Biden Administration has promised is certainly welcome, it is certainly not enough,” Broward County Mayor Steve Geller said.
Geller hosted a call with all of the county’s mayors who are fighting to get a share for their cities right now.
“The mayors were saying they want to do more of this ‘we need more vaccines, we simply don’t have enough to give to the cities now,’ “ according to Geller.
