There were mixed reactions to the long queues as Fijians rushed to get their AstraZeneca jabs yesterday.
While many gave the response a big thumbs up, others expressed concern at the potential risk of COVID-19 spread because of the long lines and some said the queues showed Fiji’s “last minute” response to critical issues.
At Cunningham Stage 1, The Fiji Times came across Hindu priest Satnesh Sharma who was bringing his mother to get vaccinated.
“The turnout is very good but it also shows people were careless because so many have not been innoculated,” he said.
