Police investigate after crash leaves 1 dead in Vallejo VALLEJO A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday night, the city’s fifth fatal vehicular incident of the year. Police responded at approximately 5:36 p.m. to the report of a motorcycle vs. vehicle traffic collision on the 1400 block of Enterprise Street. Officers who arrived there found a 31-year-old Vallejo man in critical condition. Medical personnel responded to the scene, attempted life-saving measures and transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead by hospital staff, according to a press release issued Saturday. Preliminary reports indicate the motorcyclist was driving westbound on Enterprise Street when he collided with a second vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old American Canyon man. That driver did not suffer any injuries and is cooperative with the investigation, police report.
