Last week, Hoboken community members gathered virtually to learn about a proposed affordable housing development for senior citizens.
If approved, the project would be erected at Willow Avenue and 11th Street on a city-owned parking lot by Community Investment Strategies, a Lawrenceville-based company.
According to Councilwoman Vanessa Falco, who hosted the Zoom community meeting on zoom Dec. 9, if approved by the city council the project could be the first affordable housing building constructed in the city in more than 16 years.
