Clinton County Sheriff’s reports: Drivers with drugs; assault; thefts
WILMINGTON
The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court.
The sheriff’s office recently processed these reports:
• A 25-year-old Sidney male was charged with alleged drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession after a traffic stop at 1:48 a.m. on April 20. The vehicle was stopped for a marked lanes violation. During the stop, suspected narcotics and a firearm was located.
• A 20-year-old Sabina female was charged with alleged marijuana possession after conducting a traffic stop at 5:22 a.m. on April 18 on U.S. 22 East in Wilmington/Union Township. According to the report, the vehicle was traveling at high rates of speed and had no visible plates. A bag with powder and a glass smoking pipe were found in the vehicle.
74-year-old N.J. man dies in skydiving incident, coroner says

A 74-year-old Bergen County, New Jersey man has been pronounced dead following a skydiving incident in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, the county coroner’s office said.
The victim was identified by the Monroe County Coroner’s Office as Ed Harney of Paramus. Monroe County Coroner Thomas Yanac said an autopsy is scheduled later this week to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
WFMZ-69 News reported the incident happened near Sarah Way. Sky’s the Limit Skydiving Center, on Airstrip Road, is located in the vicinity where police were called to investigate, according to the report.
Wilmington police reports: More drugged drivers
WILMINGTON

Wilmington police recently processed the following reports:
• At 2:40 a.m. on March 8, police conducted a traffic stop on A Street on a vehicle with no license plate lights. The report indicates the driver was found under the influence of apparent drugs. Police took a black lockbox as evidence.
• At 10:30 p.m. on March 9, police stopped a vehicle for failure to yield pulling out of a gas station on South South Street. The registered owner was shown to have a suspended license. The report indicates the suspect was under the influence of drugs. Police collected a urine sample as evidence.
