Coosa County Authorities have recovered the body of a drowning victim at Lake Martin. Authorities say 20 year old Vazquez Saavedra of Mississippi was the victim. Sheriff Howell said dispatch received the call just after 1:00PM Thursday. The body was recovered around 5 o’clock Friday evening. The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office is working a possible drowning at Lake Martin.
Coosa County Sheriff Michael Howell said they are looking for a male victim in his 20s in the area of Turkey Trot Trail near Equality.
Sheriff Howell said dispatch received the call just after 1:00PM Thursday.
