Wet but warm weekend
The whole of Portugal will experience rain this weekend, although it will be feeling mild.
Lisbon: It will be mainly wet in the capital over the weekend with intermittent heavy showers and temperatures reaching highs of 21 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. The wet weather is to continue for the remainder of the week although showers are to ease slightly from Tuesday and more periods of sunshine are expected.
The north: Heavy rain showers are to continue throughout the weekend although it will be feeling mainly warm with highs of 21 degrees and lows of 13 degrees. The chance of rain is to subside slightly by Tuesday but it will be feeling cooler with average daily highs of 17 degrees and nightly lows of 12 degrees.

It is to be mainly warm and bright over the bank holiday weekend however rain clouds are predicted for the coming week.
Lisbon: The wet weather is expected to ease over the bank holiday weekend with temperatures rising to highs of 22 degrees and nightly lows of 13 degrees. From Monday the winds are to become northerly and temperatures are to drop to highs of 18 degrees and to nightly average lows of 10 degrees for the rest of the week.
The north: It is to be mainly dry over the weekend with intermittent cloud cover and temperature peaking at 20 degrees and dropping to lows of 12 degrees. The chance of rain is to increase as the week progresses while temperatures are to fall to average daily highs of 16 degrees and nightly lows of 8

Rain that is forecast to fall across the county today is hoped to freshen up parts of Portugal that were badly affected by a north-African dust cloud, such as the Algarve.
The dust was particularly bad on Monday and Tuesday but is now decreasing, with rain set to wash the remnants of it away. Pictures of eerie orange skies and dirty cars have been widely circulating on social media in recent days, with the dust cloud even captured by satellite cameras.
