Crews respond to massive Fort Myers warehouse fire
As of 6:58 a.m., rescue crews said the fire had been contained.
Smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the industrial warehouse, which is owned by Cable Corporation of America. The fire sparked around 5 a.m.
Crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to the neighboring warehouse.
Residents were asked to stay away from the scene and not drive over fire hoses.
No injuries have been reported from the fire, according to South Trail Fire Rescue. Three different fire rescue districts helped battle the flames.
The state fire marshal also responded to the scene. Around 12 p.m. fire crews officially called the fire out, according to South Trail Fire.
