WORTHINGTON As a nearly lifelong Wortington resident, Russell and Jan Rickers were interested in investing in his community’s future.
Russell, who moved to Worthington at the age of 3, and his brother, Don, sold Rickers Photography Studio in August 1981. “Russ” then worked with Client Community Services Inc. from 1982 until his retirement in 1994.
It was about 1990, he recalled, when he learned about an effort to build a new living facility for seniors.
