Wisconsin has many laws on the books concerning landlord and tenant rights, and the law can be complicated.  But the Rent Smart Tenant Training Program from Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Sheboygan aims to teach participants how to become knowledgeable tenants whether renting now or planning to in the future.
Funding from the City of Sheboygan Community Development Block Grant Program will enable up to 17 individuals to be trained and earn a certificate at the completion of the course which begins February 24th.
Classes will be socially-distanced at the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce building on South 8th Street, and registration is required by contacting CCCS at 800-350-CCCS.
