Apr. 12 It was an unusually busy weekend for law enforcement officials around the Treasure Valley.
Police in the area investigated a murder in Caldwell, stabbings in Meridian and Boise, and a disturbance at an Idaho prison near Kuna. Two Canyon County sheriff s deputies were taken to the hospital after possible exposure to fentanyl.
Some incidents were still under investigation by police Monday. Here s the latest:
Meridian police arrest 17-year-old after stabbing at Wahooz
Police in Meridian announced Monday that officers arrested a 17-year-old Nampa boy they say is responsible for the stabbing of another teenage boy Saturday evening at Wahooz Family Fun Zone.

Victim of suspected homicide in Southwest Idaho identified as Canyon County man Ian Max Stevenson, The Idaho Statesman
Apr. 10 The victim of a suspected homicide in Caldwell has been identified, according to the Canyon County Sheriff s Office.
Brad Griffin Jacobs, 41, of Caldwell, was discovered by sheriff s deputies after they arrived at the 19000 block of Wagner Road early Friday morning, according to the Sheriff s Office.
By late Friday evening, officers had detained a suspect who was being interviewed by detectives, according to a news release from the Sheriff s Office. Officials are not releasing the name of the suspect and did not offer additional details about the incident.

ANN ARBOR, MI After four months with no word from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on whether she’ll support a federal Superfund cleanup of the Gelman dioxane plume in Ann Arbor, local advocates are getting ready to travel to Lansing.
They’re planning to rally on the lawn of the Michigan Capitol at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, urging Whitmer to issue a concurrence letter in support of having the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency consider placing the decades-old plume on the National Priorities List for a Superfund cleanup.
