FAMILY My husband, Steve, and I have three adult children. Our oldest daughter and her husband are expecting their first child, our first grandchild, this spring. Our second daughter is engaged and is planning a summer wedding. Our son, the “baby,” is a college junior. We have one very spoiled rescue dog, Opie, and an 18-year-old American Quarter Horse mare named Skeeter. WHAT SUBJECT DO YOU TEACH?  I currently teach math and science to 9- and 10-year-olds in fourth grade. I have been teaching fourth grade at Jackson for 10 years. I was a reading tutor for two years prior to teaching full time at Jackson.

As teachers, we want to help the students, but teaching them how to teach others is very rewarding.
