The Queensland man was forced into hotel quarantine after he was denied entry into Western Australia - but he seemingly had other plans, allegedly escaping his room in the early hours of the morning.

A Queensland man allegedly fled his fourth-floor Perth hotel quarantine room by abseiling down from his window with a rope created by tying bed sheets together.
WA Police said the man touched down in Perth from the Sunshine State at about 4.15pm on Monday but had failed to complete a G2G pass prior to his arrival.
