Family pays tribute to Alfie Scott after unexplained death

THE family of a courageous young boy who died in unexplained circumstances has paid tribute to him. Alfie, aged nine, died in hospital after police were called to an address on Vashon Drive, Copcut, Droitwich on Thursday, February 18. The boy was flown to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham by air ambulance. The circumstances around his death remain unexplained and officers are currently conducting a detailed investigation. Alfie’s grandad, Paul Scott, has spoken of his smile that would melt butter and his inquisitive nature, he said: “We are completely devastated by the loss of Alfie, he had a smile that would melt butter. He was intelligent and inquisitive, and was courageous like a lion; he was a good Christian boy who was full of God.”

HELPING hands reached out through the heartbreak as a community struggles to come to terms with the death of bubbly boy Alfie, the nine-year-old whose life was cut short in tragic circumstances. A grief-stricken community has laid more tributes and has offered what practical support it can following the unexplained death of Alfie Scott at an address in Copcut, Droitwich on Thursday.
