Worried West Norfolk residents have taken to social media to warn dog walkers after a series of attempted dog thefts across the area.
Reffley resident John Mccowan, 66, was walking his two dogs on the cycle track between Reffley and Springwood when he believes he was targeted by dog thieves.
He said: As I was walking along by the bridge, a woman walked past me and said into her phone one white, one black . Immediately alarm bells started ringing and I put my dog back on the lead.
