MACOMB The annual meeting of Macomb City Township was held Tuesday. The meeting is normally held on the second Tuesday in April, but the state shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic caused its postponement. Because of the current closure of Macomb City Hall, the annual meeting was held via ZOOM.
The township occupies the same geographic space as the city of Macomb, and city aldermen serve as township trustees. There were three trustees present Tuesday, three township officers, and one other township resident. Any township resident is allowed to vote and participate in discussion at the annual meeting.
