At the time, we were told Chevy s version of GMC s MultiPro tailgate won t be available until sometime in early 2021. Today, more precise information has come to light regarding the on-sale dates. GM Authority claims it has information from sources familiar with the automaker s marketing plans that customer orders for the Multi-Flex tailgate officially opened last week on December 17.
However, production isn t slated to get underway until February. To be clear, these two tailgates are exactly the same and differ in branding name only. GMC s version has been on sale for several months already, so it s possible for interested Chevy buyers to check it out its many cool features right now.
