Wednesday, Bay Mills Tribal Health Center in Chippewa County started vaccinating front line workers and first responders.
They administered 60 doses Wednesday.
Another 60 booster shots will be given in about two weeks.
“It’s important that everybody who can get a shot, should get a shot. This is how we are going to end the pandemic. We are prioritizing who gets it now because of limited supply, but within a few months there should be an adequate supply for everybody,” said Dr. Daniel Maloney, Bay Mills chief medical officer.
