As lockdown restrictions eased even further this week – and with gyms reopening once more – I headed to the brand new ROWBOTS City location to test out the studio.

Pros: Located in the Westshore business district, this airport-adjacent hotel is a favorite among business travelers who praise the illy coffe bar and other services that help days run smoothly.
Cons: If you re not in town for business or an on-site event, you could find this to be an inconvenient location, with beaches 30 minutes away. In fact, the closest attraction is the Westshore Mall.
This large hotel is accustomed to business travelers with precise demands, as well as groups in town for destination weddings or other events. So, you can be sure that any request will be met with both efficiency and excellence.

Despite the devastating impact the pandemic caused on the travel industry, top hotel brands are continuing their efforts to launch high-end attractions.
The aim is to lure travellers with their idyllic settings, bespoke experiences and mouth-watering food offerings.
Here are some of the hot new luxury hotel openings expected in 2021:
Old school revamp
The Carlton Tower Jumeirah is among the most anticipated reopenings of 2021. The property, which closed in 2019 for refurbishment, has embarked on a £100 million (about R1.9 billion) project that will see the London property downside their rooms, from 216 to 186, to create added space for guests.
The Place
Part of the $330 million upgrade of Adelaide s original casino precinct, Skycity is a glittering beacon of gold marking a huge change to Adelaide s hotel scene. Entering the hotel for the first time, I wondered if I d stepped through a portal and into the lobby of a flashy Las Vegas or LA hotel, as white-uniformed staff smiled at me behind a gleaming marble counter. There s also a hot new rooftop bar, a pool deck and spa and the hotel s classy but casual restaurant, Sol.
The Location
In prime territory next to the Festival Centre and near North Terrace, with the railway station underneath, rooms offer views over the River Torrens and surrounding parklands to one side and on the other, Adelaide s stroll-friendly city, which is within easy reach.
